Rashid Turabi graduated from NED University of Engineering and Technology with BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1997. Later he moved to USA to pursue his MS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from California State University, San Jose.
Being in the center of Silicon Valley during his MS studies, Rashid decided to join one of the worlds largest semiconductor equipment manufacturer Applied Materials as an intern. He spend next 12 years working on building world class equipment that powered the digital revolution of 2000s.
After spending more than a decade in bunny suites, Rashid decided to apply his manufacturing and quality skills in consumer electronics. In 2012 he joined Apple, where he was part of operations team responsible for launching iPod 6th gen, iPhone 5, 6, and 7.
Continuing his passion for innovation and problem solving. he is currently working at Google. Leading a product quality team making smart devices more helpful.
