Asad Bajwa

Asad Bajwa graduated with BS in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan in 1991 and MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Detroit Mercy, Detroit. Michigan in 1993.

Mr. Bajwa started his career with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) consulting engineers as an electrical engineer in 1994 and now hold a tittle of Chief Electrical Engineer at CMT. Mr. Bajwa has been involved in variety of electrical engineering design, development and construction projects related to aviation, surface transportation, utilities, energy and water resources for past 30 years. Mr. Bajwa’s passion and expertise has always been the design and development of Airfield Lighting Systems, Navaids and Instrument Landing Systems for Military, Commercial and General Aviation airports. Mr. Bajwa is a member of IES Aviation Lighting Committee, IEE and IESNA. Mr. Bajwa is licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Florida.

Since 2008, Mr. Bajwa has also been involved in design, development, and construction of solar power projects for commercial, industrial, and utility scale projects. Mr. Bajwa serve as a President/CEO of Irradiant Energy Consultants and Executive President of SolarUSA, LLC.

In 2002 Mr. Bajwa was elected board member for NEDEA Greater Chicago.
