NED University has taken the lead in transforming the Main Campus of the University into a ‘live lab’ working towards a sustainable and ultimately first Carbon Neutral engineering university campus of Pakistan. On February 12, 2018, NED University signed the Talloires Declaration to become Carbon Neutral Campus and brought Pakistan as a member of Talloires Signatory List.
For this purpose, in addition to many other initiatives, NEDUET is creating Urban Forest with Miyawaki Technique at various locations in the city including the NED main campus and old campus. At this point a total of 10 locations have been developed and few others are identified to be developed.
NED alumni with their contributions can become part of this noble campaign. Below are six sites earmarked within NED properties for the development of Urban Forest. Please contribute as much as you like but do not let this opportunity pass by you.
